    Based in Utah, Idaho, and Arizona, Progrexion leads the credit repair industry with groundbreaking technologies and services that help consumers access and understand information contained in their credit reports, verify whether that information is fair, accurate and substantiated, and correct inaccuracies with individual creditors, other data furnishers and the national credit bureaus.  Progrexion technology and services are used by Lexington Law, an independently-operated law firm, and CreditRepair.com, its wholly-owned subsidiary.

    The Associate Attorney will report to the Chief Legal Officer and work with the other members of the Legal department to support the Company’s legal needs.  The Associate Attorney will lead the commercial contracts and regulatory licensing functions for the Company and will be responsible for assisting with research, analysis, and recommendations on general consumer financial services laws and regulations.  The Associate Attorney role will partner closely with all internal lines of business.


    • Draft, review, and negotiate a broad range of commercial transactions including service agreements, software licenses, and vendor agreements
    • Provide support and advise on the Company’s regulatory licensing and registrations, including under existing and proposed federal and state laws
    • Demonstrate and maintain a thorough knowledge of federal and state consumer financial services laws and regulations
    • Monitor regulatory developments which may affect the Company’s business and inform management and internal business partners
    • Identify, assess, and prioritize operational, brand, and regulatory risk
    • Review and approve marketing materials and advise on compliance with laws and regulations
    • Provide practical legal advice and support to one or more business units with minimal supervision
    • Handle day-to-day legal matters in assigned area(s)
    • Work directly with all levels of management
    • May manage relationships with outside counsel
    • Expected to confer with supervising attorney on more complex matters
    • Work independently on caseload and issues as assigned (assigned areas may require research to determine appropriate course of action)
    • Provide “backup” for other attorneys as needed
    • Perform all other job duties as assigned by supervisor


    • Minimum of 3 to 5 years of experience working as an attorney with a primary practice focused on consumer financial services laws and regulations in a corporate legal department or top-tier law firm
    • Minimum of 3 years of experience with contract negotiation
    • Strong analytical skills and ability to interpret regulations and regulatory guidance
    • Significant experience working with the Fair Credit Reporting Act, the Telemarketing Sales Rule, the Telephone Consumer Protection Act preferred
    • Law degree from an ABA accredited law school with a license to practice law in at least one state
    • Excellent organizational abilities and able to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced, dynamic work environment
    • The ability to balance immediate and long-term priorities
    • Ability to build effective partnerships with multiple stakeholders, both internal and external
    • Excellent oral and written communication skills, including the ability to communicate detailed and complex information to others at all levels of the organization
    • Self-motivated with high level of attention to detail
    • Exhibit high degree of professionalism and confidentiality in handling and having access to sensitive information
